In the first years of live, baby develops his auditory in very great way. By listening, the baby experiences language and music which will support their intellectual and emotional development. You can notice that usually turns his head after listening to a sound only minutes after birth. Baby's auditory development grows constantly more during their first year. Therefore, this is the exact time to increase the auditory capability. Many parents choose musical toys to entertain, soothe and excite the baby. You can see that your baby enjoys the regular beat and rhythm in the sounds of music and your voice. Moreover, you can choose book to develop your baby's auditory capability. Of course, it is you who read the book for him regularly. Your baby will listen to your voice, hearing language and the rhythm of reading. This is a critical method since the process will define your baby's future in reading. If you can sing, it is better that you sing the simple song occasionally in order to make him soothe and relax. When your baby is strong enough, you can add the game with placing some safe object in the bottom drawer in your kitchen. You can ask him to make different sounds with the objects by banging them and rattling them. Additionally, you can involve in making different sounds such as tongue clicking, mouth popping, whistling, clapping, peek-a-boo. Sometimes you can create a calm situation by playing soft and peaceful songs or rhyme songs so that both of you will clap and sing together. When your baby is getting older and stronger, let him try banging different materials such as a wooden spoon on a saucepan. Indeed, this will be noisy and your other family members perhaps dislike it. So that chooses the proper time to play this. Your baby will have chance to listen any sounds when they drop objects from highchair or his hand. This can be your time to talk and listen each other. Make sure you know the hearing condition on your baby. You should also ensure that there are no problems on his auditory development. If there is problem and you know it early, your baby will get treatments as soon as possible. |
